Civil sector - Innovative technologies - Rehabilitation
The conservative rehabilitation of a building becomes necessary when the cladding, meaning its structure, starts showing the first signs of failure due to the passing of time. The work we do in these cases consists of removing the damaged parts, which are replaced by new parts that meet the higher quality standards. We want these new structural insertions to conform, as much as possible, with the parts of the present structure that do not require rehabilitation/removal, so that to maintain the previous appearance of the building.
Masonry rehabilitation
These images show what we did to rehabilitate an external wall with vaulted openings. The most critical things were humidity in the upper part, which had ruined the plaster, and the cracks along the base of the support pillars of the arch. We removed the damaged materials and gave back freshness to the structure, using specific materials so to prevent the recurrence of similar damages.
