Since April 10, 2016, in 52 municipalities in the province of Brescia, it is compulsory to ask for the authorization of the Municipality for every new construction or renovation. In Brescia and in many municipalities of the areas of Garda and Valsabbia, the submitted plans must include anti-seismic works, otherwise it won't be possible to start building. The Province of Brescia decided it with a resolution of September 29, 2015. The 52 municipalities involved were, in fact, classified as high seismic risk zones.

Seismic retrofitting of the Pompiano Church - Brescia
Deldossi is highly experienced in this sector. Indeed we did static consolidation works on different churches in the area, such as that Sant'Andrea in Pompiano. We reinforced the cladding layers to brace the walls and the façade and installed a metal curb in the garret of the room and of the apse. The following work consisted in the consolidation of the apsidal truss. We inserted wooden supports and metal chains so that to eliminate the bending action in the wooden chain. We then worked on the side walls. We build a structural element with a burb-chain function on the cladding layers of the lateral chapels in order to contrast the longitudinal thrust. Also, we rehabilitated the cracks in the walls through mixtures of hydraulic binder compatible with the pre-existing walls.

The work consists in creating, or enlarging, an opening in a load-bearing wall. In order for the structure to be able to withstand this type of work, it is necessary to do structural verifications and to find the solution that guarantees the solidity of the structure.
Acli Duemila seismic improvement cladding - Brescia
The seismic improvement work done to Acli Duemila in Brescia required the integration of the previous structure with new materials. The structural gaps of the tympanum were filled with bricks. Then we reinforced the wall. To unload the beams and to make them more resistant we put steel rods in them.
Caritas seismic improvement cladding - Brescia
The seismic retrofitting we did on the headquarters of the Fondazione Opera Caritas San Martino required particularly complex work; it was, for example, necessary to remake the roof using new beams. It was decided to leave the central beam to which two steel girders were put together for bracing to give better support.
